ugly

I've just dug it out from a pile of paper and magazines. I've completely forgot about that one and I meant to put it up earlier. It's definitely not my best, I used to like it, but now I'm not content with it.
Anyway since my hand-writing is a mystery to majority of people here's the decoded text:



i look into a mirror
held my breath for a second
then I look away
and everything seems better

i look at the water
i don't like what i see
i ask myself
is that really the best that you can be

i look into your eyes
you say: "stop it, you're fine"
i realized the ugliest thing
is that shallow soul of mine



just a note, the change in tenses and lack of personal pronouns in some lines is intentional.
